Extracurricular activities are those activities which are outside from the regular course of studies like outdoor sports i-e marathon race and events, like paintings, debates etc. these activities play a vital role in the development of kidz’s mental and physical health. When a child returns to home after school, he will then go out for some kind of extracurricular activity depending upon budget and mood or interests. Popular activities among kids are karate, table tennis badminton, dancing, baking etc.
These activities are divided into two categories, one is paid or subscription based like learning piano lessons, dancing schools, joining private clubs for sports like badminton, soccer etc while the second one in which there is no any kind of paid subscription and it is mood or interest base.
The matter of concern is why these activities are necessary? What if the child just hammered full day at school learning and practicing things he doesn’t like? What about going out and doing something again?
First, as the child grows older, coming home and get boredom doing nothing is fatal for their health and performance. As they grow younger, they want social interaction in the form of activities because it is their inherent nature to become a social animal.
So parents are advised to send their children to extracurricular activities. It will broaden their children horizons, allow them to relax.
